Due to the living nature of our plants, we do not accept returns. All sales are final except for our DOA guarantee.
Dead on Arrival (DOA) Policy
We take great care in packaging and shipping our rare Anthurium plants to ensure they arrive healthy and thriving. However, we understand that issues can occasionally occur during transit.
Reporting DOA Claims:
- All DOA claims must be reported within 48 hours of delivery
- Contact us at botanicalraritiesshop@gmail.com with your order number

Include clear photos showing:
- The plant's condition upon arrival
- The packaging (box and interior materials)
- Any visible damage to the plant or roots
What Qualifies as DOA:
- Plant arrives completely dead with no viable growth points
- Severe root rot present upon arrival
- Major physical damage caused during shipping (broken stems, crushed leaves covering more than 50% of the plant)
- Frozen or heat-damaged plants due to extreme weather exposure
What Does NOT Qualify as DOA:
- Minor cosmetic damage (small tears, bent leaves, minor browning)
- Natural leaf yellowing or dropping during acclimation
- Plants that decline after the 48-hour window
- Damage caused by repotting or improper care after delivery
- Plants refused at delivery or left unattended
Our Guarantee: For verified DOA claims submitted within 48 hours with proper documentation:
- Full refund to your original payment method, OR
- Free replacement of the same plant (subject to availability)
Important Notes:
- We are not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier
- During extreme weather (below 0°C or above 35°C), we may delay shipment for plant safety
- All plants are shipped Monday or Tuesday to minimize transit time
- Heat packs or cold packs are included when necessary
After the 48-Hour Window: We cannot accept DOA claims after 48 hours of delivery. Plants are living organisms that require proper care immediately upon arrival. Please inspect your order promptly and contact us with any concerns.
